What's the To Do about Camu Camu?

Camu Camu (Kuhh-Moo Kuhh-Moo)
Camu Camu is a shrub-grown fruit that grows in the rain forests of the Amazon.
The leaves and fruit both have medicinal value.
In the United States, Camu Camu is most readily available in a powder form (as the fruit itself is very fragile and does not ship well)

Packed with 50 times more Vitamin C than oranges and high in free radical fighting antioxidants.

1 teaspoon of Camu Camu powder
contains over 600 mg of Vitamin C!
(Recommended Brands of Camu Camu Powder:
Terrasoul, Navitas and Pure Radiance)

Why is Vitamin C so important?
Vitamin C, in its natural form, is a water soluble antioxidant
(a very potent one at that!)
Many people are Vitamin C deficient.
Our bodies can put Vitamin C to work in many different ways.
It is great for:
  • immune health
  • wound healing
  • adrenal health
  • skin health
  • inflammation
  • macular degeneration
  • gum disease (which is directly linked to heart disease)
  • depression
  • liver health
  • and much more!
Vitamin C Protocol
For a healthy adult, a daily dose of 1 teaspoon (about 5 grams)
of Camu Camu powder is a great start!
{1/2 teaspoon for children}
Vitamin C is absorbed and used within 30-60 minutes of taking it, for this reason, you need to keep it in your body by taking doses every 1 - 2 hours (except while sleeping)
Your tolerance for Vitamin C will lower, the healthier you are. If you have major health problems or a serious sickness, your body can handle as much as 100-200 grams per day.
The simple way of finding your Vitamin C tolerance is to start by taking 4-15 grams in small doses, (that would be 4,000 to 15,000 mg total), over a 24 hour time span and if that causes bowel issues such as: gas, soft stool or diarrhea, then back off the dose, you’ve reached your limit.
